Zell Daffodil Mural

Artist and Johns Creek resident, Joan Zell is creating an immersive photo experience by painting a portable public art daffodil mural to be used as a photo backdrop during the City’s Daffodil Days celebration.  Festival participants can sit in front of the giant daffodils to experience the painting much like a ladybug would when resting on a stem.
Joan’s style of painting is impressionistic representational.  She attempts to be more “painterly” than realistic.  Painting this way has more of a poetic feel than a photograph, and it is left up to the viewer to complete the image in their mind.
Come take a photo with Joan’s daffodils and begin your story.
