DAFFODILS4HOPE

DAFFODILS4HOPE 2025 - CONTINUING TO BLOOM WITH HOPE

Picture
Welcome back to another year of Daffodils4Hope! Building on the success of past years, our mission to transform Johns Creek with beauty and hope continues to grow.

WHAT IS DAFFODILS4HOPE?

Daffodils4Hope (D4H) is a citywide daffodil planting campaign designed to raise awareness and celebrate cancer survivorship. This inspiring initiative is a partnership between Johns Creek Beautification and CanCare—a compassionate community of cancer survivors who offer one-on-one support to patients and caregivers through empathy, encouragement, and shared experience. Together, we plant daffodils as a living symbol of strength, resilience, and renewed hope.
Learn more about CanCare’s mission at www.cancare.org.

Daffodils4Hope is more than a planting event—it’s a year-round movement!
Fundraising and planning happen throughout the year, and daffodil planting takes place each fall between October 1st and December 1st.
On October 25, Johns Creek Beautification, in partnership with Zion CanCare and collaboration with the City of Johns Creek we proudly hosted the 2025 Daffodils4Hope Community Wide Annual Planting event. We planted 10,000 daffodil bulbs across eight different sites in Johns Creek. A total of 72,250 daffodils will have been planted across 29 locations throughout the city of Johns Creek and nearby planting sites. These flowers will bloom in the spring, symbolizing hope, beauty, and support for cancer survivors.

2. Volunteer at the Event
We welcome individuals, families, service groups, and organizations to help us make this event a success. A good rule of thumb: we recommend 1 volunteer for every 100 bulbs planted. Our next event will take place in October of 2026. We'll post update once the exact date is confirmed. Until then, stay tuned.

OUR 2025 IMPACT

In 2025, D4H successfully planted an additional 10,000 daffodils in collaboration with the City of Johns Creek, Johns Creek Beautification, and our incredible community partners and friends. This brought the program’s citywide total to 72,250 daffodils planted across 29 community locations, including Cauley Creek Park.

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, we hosted our Community-Wide Annual Dig Day Event, with 10,000 daffodils planted across several key community sites: Cauley Creek Park, Haynes Bridge Animal Hospital, City Barbecue Johns Creek, Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Johns Creek Presbyterian Preschool, Oxford Mill Homeowners Association, and Farmbrook Homeowners Association. The day represented not only the beauty of spring blooms but also our shared commitment to supporting those impacted by cancer.

Volunteers & Sponsors
This year’s event brought together more than 100 volunteers from groups including Northview High School Beta Club, Lambert High School Beta Club, the Young Men’s Service League, the Ismaili Civic Group, Autrey Mill Middle School, Lowe’s, and dedicated community members. Their collective effort continues to make Daffodils4Hope a symbol of unity, hope, and community spirit throughout Johns Creek.
