- The Wall That Heals in Newtown Park is a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington. More than 58,000 names of American men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice are inscribed on the memorial.
- Daffodils 4 Hope, a project of Johns Creek Beautification, has targeted the goal of planting one daffodil for each name etched on The Wall to honor and memorialize each of those individuals. Daffodils rebloom each spring in a burst of bright yellow and/or white. The flower is a beautiful reminder of hope and resilience, and a meaningful way to honor and remember those who served.
- This Daffodil 4 Hope project, a JCB community planting initiative, is presented in cooperation with the Johns Creek Recreation and Parks Department and Johns Creek Veterans Association.
Gift Goal- to plant 58,000 daffodils around the Wall.
