Johns Creek Beautification (JCB), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was formed in 2007 when the City of Johns Creek was founded. The mission of JCB is to enhance the well-being and natural beauty of our community by bringing people together through landscaping and public works of art. Currently, JCB is engaged in three major community projects which enrich the lives of our residents. We encourage you to learn more about these activities, make a donation, and become a JCB volunteer.

Daffodils4Hope - Daffodils4Hope, a community wide volunteer bulb planting program, was launched in 2018, in partnership with CanCare Atlanta, to support cancer survivors. Large beds of daffodils have been planted at several locations in the city including city parks, houses of worship, subdivisions, schools, and Emory Johns Creek Hospital . The goal is to find and plant daffodils at additional locations over the next decade to raise awareness of the specific needs of cancer survivors and to beautify our city. Our next planting event is the Daffodils4Hope Annual Dig Day. This is a community-wide event that will take place Saturday, October 26 at Cauley Creek Park. Hundreds of volunteers come together to assist JCBC D4H and our planting partners in beautifying the City of Johns Creek and provide a well-meaning humanitarian service by remembering the work of CanCare to provide support to cancer survivors and their caretakers. Secret Garden Tour - Johns Creek Beautification launched its wildly successful tour of gorgeous private gardens in 2018. Since that year, additional tours were held, every other year, in the Johns Creek community. The Secret Gardens of the Johns Creek Communities tour is a ur nunique event in our area; each private garden, in addition to being a beautiful property, features live music and artists engaged in their chosen medium. Proceeds from the garden tour support the work of Johns Creek Beautification’s projects including the purchase of public art for the city and to support a massive, citywide, daffodil planting effort to raise awareness of cancer survivorship through JCB’s partnership with CanCare. Median Beautification
Even before Johns Creek became a city, the Johns Creek Community Association (JCCA) collaborated with community and state leaders to secure $100,000 in grants from the Fulton County Tree Fund, along with donations from local businesses, which allowed the city to secure additional, larger grants. Johns Creek Beautification was created to lead the median and right-of-way beautification efforts along the Medlock and State Bridge corridors. The organization spent its early years setting down roots with the newly formed City of Johns Creek by working closely with them on the median projects, donating tree saplings to Northview High School and local neighborhoods, paving the way for public art installations, and by navigating funding processes for future projects.
