HOW CAN I BECOME A PLANTING PARTNER?

Picture
Welcome Back for Another Year of Daffodils4Hope!Building on the success of previous years, our shared journey of transforming community spaces with beauty and hope continues.
The 2026 Daffodils4Hope Annual Planting Event will take place on a Saturday in October 2026.
Sponsorships begin at approximately $500 and include 1,000 reserved bulbs and a Daffodils4Hope garden sign.
We’ll post updates once the exact date and sponsorship amount are confirmed. Planting partners commit to selecting a site, welcoming volunteers, and funding the bulbs to create a daffodil garden that will bloom with purpose each spring.
Your daffodils will not only beautify the community but also shine as a symbol of hope and cancer survivorship awareness.
The deadline to register is June 30, 2026.
Reflecting on Our Journey Together
In 2025, D4H successfully planted 10,000 daffodils through a connection with Johns Creek Beautification, the City of Johns Creek and community partners and friends.  Our citywide effort now totals 72,250 bulbs planted at 29 community locations, including Cauley Creek Park.

We Invite You to Rejoin Our Mission
Join us as we uplift our community and honor cancer survivors —each bulb a lasting symbol of hope and resilience

1) SELECT YOUR PLANTING SITE

Let us know if you have a sunny planting site that would like to be part of our program such as house of worship, neighborhood (HOA), school, senior residence, business, etc.
Your 1,000 bulbs will need a mostly sunny site of at least 200 square feet which is approximately the size of a large parking space.

2) PLANNING AHEAD FOR 2026 - SET YOUR DATES

  • Order 1,000 daffodil bulbs to participate in next year’s Daffodils4Hope planting. Each order includes one Daffodils4Hope sign provided by Johns Creek Beautification (JCB). The deadline to order bulbs through JCB is June 30, 2026. The final contribution amount for 2026 has not yet been determined. Last year’s contribution was $500, but costs may vary depending on bulb prices and shipping next season.
  • Set your date for planting your bulbs sometime between
October 1st and December 1st. Next year’s Daffodils4Hope Annual Dig Day will be held on a Saturday during October 2026, at Cauley Creek Park. Stay tuned for updates here.
  • Prepare Your Site
Choose a date to prepare your flower bed in advance of planting season.
Once we receive your bulb order, we will send you an invoice.
Please mail your check to:

Johns Creek Beautification,
5805 State Bridge Road, Suite G99,
Johns Creek, GA 30097

After mailing, kindly send us a quick email at [email protected] so we can confirm receipt and thank you.
💛 If it’s easier, we’ll be happy to arrange a time to pick up your check — just let us know in your email.

3) PREPARE YOUR FLOWER BED

To ensure successful blooms, your site needs to be cultivated with a shovel or tiller. See Planting Guide PDF

4) PLANT YOUR BULBS

  • Recruit your volunteers from anyone who can put on a pair of gloves and wants to dig in the dirt.
  • Instruct your volunteers to plant each bulb 4" – 6" deep and space them 6" apart, pointy end up.
  • Proudly display the Daffodils4Hope sign in your flower bed to show your recognition and a support for CanCare.
  • Celebrate and enjoy your blooms next spring and for years to come!
  • Increase the smiles in our community by adding more bulbs each year!
